Synopsis – Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Malcolm (Jason Clarke) bertemu dengan pemimpin para kera cesar (Andy Serkis) disaat tak tepat, ketika rombongan malcolm hendak memeriksa bendungan pembangkit listrik, sehingga dapat dinyalakan dan manusia dapat kembali menggunakan listrik, namun ditengah jalan rekannya menembak salah satu kera, karena dianggap mengancam. Kejadian ini membuat rakyat kera marah.

Beruntung ada sang kera pemimpin cesar, ia menenangkan rakyatnya, dan hanya memperingatkan para manusia dalam hal ini adalah malcolm dan rombongan untuk tak lagi kembali. Meski begitu, cesar yang didesak rakyatnya untuk melakukan perhitungan atau pembalasan, akhirnya memutuskan untuk menemui manusia dengan ratusan rakyatnya dengan bersenjatakan tombak, menegaskan kembali bahwa manusia dan kera mempunyai rumah masing-masing, tapi mereka akan berperang bila memang harus.
